My mixtape release, is just hours away. Wow. There are really no words to explain this journey, this ride that I've been on. I Am Young.

One day I got into an argument wit my mom, and she asked me, why do I do the things that I do....and I couldnt give her a reason...it was like i was speechless, not able to give her one thought as to why I cant get any A's or, why I stay out so late, or why I love girls wit amazing booty's, and if they're smart thats cool...doode!...I couldn't give her nothing....so I sat and thought it out and it hit me.
I AM YOUNG.
I do NOT follow status quo, because following is a sign of weakness, and I am not weak.

lost in my own world of myspace comments, cable television, Sb dunks, and frivolous wants.
I AM YOUNG.
I take no time to make bad decisions, but I take all the time in the world to make good ones, I tend to dislike uppity neighborhoods, but I stay in the hood ones. I am a Top Ramen digesting, Apple product investing, child of the 80's...don't take me for a fool, for fool's lives is what i'll take if they cross me,
I AM YOUNG.I speak my mind because its not like it has a mouth of it's own, I leave trash where I want because another candy bar wrapper on the sidewalk is not going end the earth anytime soon.
I AM YOUNG.they profile me wherever I go, and yet I don't care, I wear my jeans down low, as that lady holds her purse close, I stare at her from under the brim of a fitted, I take more than I am givin..
I AM YOUNG. I shoot all my pictures at perfect myspace or facebook arm length, and I never wear my cap straight, I have memorized the rotation of the videos that play on BET now, and don't ask me how but I could probably go a week eating nothing but cookies.
I AM YOUNG. My perfect day would be dancing the night away, and I know all the new ones, and the old for that matter, I could imitate and demonstrate till my legs are sore, but show me a cutie, and for her I'll dance some more.
I AM YOUNG. I could probably quote 70 different episodes of Chappelle Show, and I know every single joke in For What It's Worth, and I wouldn't dare get up and touch the TV if the remote don't work,
I AM YOUNG. My persona is what sets me apart from anybody over 25, I live and die by the code set by the idol we call Rufio...see in Hook , he told us to never grow up, and to stay forever young....hmm...well hell I'm still a kid..right?...

Craziness!!!

Hey everyone!

So "Up All Night" comes out tomorrow, ands for some reason, I'm sad. Everything is going soooooo fast! I don't want this ride to ever end. It seems like yesterday that I came up with this concept for a mixtape, and now I am one week away from it's release.

In between acting, and writing screenplays, I write spoken word poetry. As a thank you to my supporters, you will get some poetry along with the mixtape as bonus content. Also, check back here for updates and videos and poetry and more! The week leading up to the release will be full of good stuff. =]

I didn't expect to post everyday, but this is amazing!

Within 24 hours of "Light Up" being released, it has hit #1 on the tweetmysong.com charts! I want to thank you all for your support. It means a lot and it erases any doubts I have about my music being accepted by this industry.

All I can say is, you think this track was hot? Not only is this mixtape blazin hot, but what till you see what I have in store for my next mixtape ;)
